Thank you for posting a photo of yourself using the 111skin mask. The only reason I want to try one is for how absurd and powerful the selfie game is with it and boy does it not disappoint.

👉 Kevyn Aucoin ‘The Brow Gel’ Pencil
Review: I love brow pencils, I love Kevyn Aucoin products. But this product … was definitely not executed well. It is SO SO SO waxy, that the colored pigment doesn’t even stick, & my brows get suctioned to my skin. It’s an awful look. The pencil is also SO soft that after 1 stroke, I need to re-sharpen it, in order to maintain the sharp point for precise lines. It just doesn’t work, & the price is too high to blind-buy it.
➡️ Shade: Sheer Ash Blonde
💰 Price: $28 (Beautylish)
🚦 Rating: FAIL

👉 Benefit ‘Georgia’ Blush
Review: I know a lot of people dig this blush, but hear me out: I bought this after so many rave reviews. However, I don’t see (at all) what’s so great about this blush. First off, the base color is SO incredibly light, it barely shows up on my skintone (& I’m a light-medium). There is a very small amount of people that will get a vibrant look with this. Next, it is so intensely shimmery that it highlights ALL the texture on my cheeks. It’s also very, very heavily fragranced like perfume, too.
➡️ Shade: Georgia
💰 Price: $30 (Sephora)

👉 Lime Crime Softwear Blush
Review: Another blush; but let me tell you – don’t even think about wasting your money on this formula. I’ve been reviewing a lot of blushes for my Blush Series that I’m working on, & this is the #1 hardest-to-work-with blush that I’ve ever used. The picture above of me wearing it is after SIX layers. It doesn’t play well with finger application, & it barely goes on with a brush. It’s pilled-up on me, it’s gone patchy, it’s extremely sheer, & I can think of a hundred thousand other ways to spend $22 that WON’T leave you disappointed.
➡️ Shade: Pixel
💰 Price: $22

👉 Ardell ‘Faux Mink Demi’ Wispies
Review: I got this pair of lashes in a limited edition variety-pack, & they looked really pretty. I’ve used Ardell lashes in the past, & have always enjoyed the product. However, THESE specific lashes are a beast to work with. They don’t want to shape, & like to remain straightened – even when pressure is applied to tweak the band shape. They still return to their natural state. After giving up on shaping them, you have to deal with the curl. In my opinion, these lashes are TOO curly, & make it really, really, really difficult to blend your natural lashes in with the faux pair. The permanent curl that Ardell creates these lashes with, just causes another barrier to application. I would highly recommend another pair.
➡️ Style: Faux Mink Demi
💰 Price: $2.98 (Amazon – 4pk / $11.90)

👉 Bloomeffects ‘Dutch Dirt Mask’
Review: You know a product is questionable when your partner looks at you & says, “Why does your face smell like beer?” Guys – no joke. The alcohol content in this product has got to be astronomical. There is no ingredients list on it, so I can’t check – but as soon as I crack the lid open, the sudden bitter aroma of potent alcohol fills the surrounding area. I actually braved it the other day, & put this mask on my face to test it out and I was GAGGING. It was so strong, I could literally taste it. It’s the EXACT smell of isopropyl alcohol. Personally, I’m not opposed to a small amount of alcohol in the ingredients list – but when it literally defines & saturates the product, I just can’t handle that & see no benefit of including it in a beauty regimen.
Review: Another mask! Luckily, the formula of this one is excellent, & the fragrance is extremely pleasant. However, using the actual mask itself is an absolute chore. Considering that EACH mask in the pack is $27, I would think they would be constructed a little better. You MUST lie down with this mask – it’s a slippery one that will move & glide all around your face. The mask is one of those gelatinous ones, & mixing that element with the added serum creates a lubricious mess. So, as you spend the entirety of the 20-minute mask time fiddling with & adjusting the mask – it’s SO damned fragile, that it tears apart. At the end of the 20-minutes, you are left with pieces of mask on your face, & a malcontent attitude – when it SHOULD’VE been a relaxing experience.
