I’m going to my friends’ 21st birthday party, being hosted in a bar. She said the dress code was semi-formal so I know how to dress but I don’t know what makeup would be appropriate. I don’t just want to do my everyday makeup because there will be a photographer and I want to be cute. Ideas?

A strong red lipstick could make a big statement. It will look great with semi-formal attire. I personally think that you should keep your focus on the lips rather than eye makeup.
