i wore makeup on the 19th and 20th and it triggered contact dermatitis on my eyelids. i have had this before a few times, albeit briefly and only on my eyelids. at one point the redness was on the sides of my face and as you can see, it is still under my eyes and eyelids. i wash my face twice a day with cerave normal cleanser and i apply the ordinary hyaluronic moisturizer, aquaphor to the irritated areas, as well as hydrocortisone cream sometimes. several days ago my allergies started up (pollen), and it has made it a bit worse. iβm not sure what to do anymore because my dermatitis has never been this bad and elongated. on a better note, my eyelids are no longer swollen like they have been the past 10ish days, but the dermatitis is clearly still there π any advice is appreciated!!!!
I had this a few months ago and it would calm down and flare up. I got an ointment from my doctor (protopic or something like that) and avoided makeup at all until it cleared up. Applied it at night and put some Vaseline on-top of it
I had CD on my eyelids a couple years ago. It hurts so bad. Iβm so sorry

When I have my flare ups vitamin E brings instant relief to the itchiness and dryness (applied directly onto the skin) βΊοΈ
