🔎 REVIEW:
🔸️Patchiness: no patchiness
🔸️Blendability: harder time blending this formula
🔸️Fallout: experienced tiny bit of fallout, the most being from foil shade ‘Espresso’
🔸️Shade Variance: there is a nice range of light, midtone, & deep shades. There are a good bit of traditional ‘neutral transition shades’ for a range of skintones.
🔸️Formula: the mattes were steeped with pigment, which provided a surprising color payoff. I always have a harder time blending the Dominique Cosmetics formula, but this palette’s mattes blended easier than the others I’ve tried. The foils are absolutely gorgeous. Although closely related in shade, when swatched out, you can definitely tell a difference between each one & figure the best way to use them for your particular skin tone. There were no duds in this palette.
🔸️Packaging: there’s nothing wrong with this packaging; I love the color combination & the style. It also fits with Christen Dominique’s Dominique’s aesthetic.
🔸️Recommendation: I’m so happy to have this! Using this palette, I find myself creating softer & more delicate looks. Your not really going to get anything incredibly bold from this shade range. It takes a little extra effort to work with – but I think it’s worth it. The price per shade is on the higher end, so you have to make the decision whether or not you want to pay almost $5 per shade – will you get enough use out of each one to render the price point? The palette itself is easy to store. I am keeping this in my collection. I would definitely recommend this palette. I find it unique, soft, & irresistible.
