Haven’t seen a lot of reviews here even though there is a flair for review so hopefully that’s correct. I’m reviewing the Crease Piece, a makeup tool that’s supposed to help you create cropped creases instantly. Full disclosure, I received mine for free from the company. Personally for me, I have a hard time getting the right placement and even for both eyes, and maybe it’s because I have monolids so there is no fold to guide me. In order for me to do my eyeshadow placement, I usually have to apply everything with my eyes open because my monolides are also hooded. Having what is basically an eye patch over my eye bothers me. The shapes aren’t the most flattering for little Asian eyes like mine either, and I’ve tried all of the shapes available. I am also irrationally angry with reviews who only do a first impression review of this product because this product only works fantastically once. How it works is you glue these “stencils” onto a stick, hold it over your eye, and it works like the spoon cut crease hack. Unfortunately, the stickiness of the stencils decreases considerably after the first use. I contacted the brand and they said I could wash them and they would be like new but it didn’t work for me. Even after washing, the sides of the stencils keep coming out. The shape of your eyeshadow also tends to get a bit wobbly in the outer parts and you [can see it](https://imgur.com/a/QNjLZ1V) in the Top 2 YouTube Reviews for this Product, which were written by Tati & Beauty Insider. I thought I was doing something wrong because [I get wonky shapes](https://i.imgur.com/9OGLYLr.jpg) that take years to correct, but I watched these videos instead of just listening to the review in the background and I don’t trust these 2 reviews anymore . You can see the wobbly shape on video! Why do they act like they just produced the best cut fold ever? I also don’t know if this is the shape of my eyes, but to put the piece flat on my skin I end up pressing the stick against my face and it ruins my cover (you can see the print of the stick in the previous photo). I think this product is a great concept, but the execution doesn’t work here. For me, one way to make it work would be to make it something that you click instead of sticking and make it clear plastic so you can see your eye below. I still won’t get it because the shapes don’t suit my eyes and the amount of fixation I need to do makes it easier to achieve the regular folds.
