Hello everyone. I need someone with experience to help me! My fiance and I travel a bit before our escape. The earliest I could get eyelash extensions is a week and two days before the wedding. Do you think they will last? I see many different opinions. I can’t have lumpy eyelashes during my wedding !!
Hello! I am a lash extension wearer all year around and let me tell you that with proper care, yes they will last, but they probably won’t be as full. It really depends on how you take care of them and what kind of lashes you get.
If I were you, I would get thicker/fuller lashes than you would ideally want as they will naturally fall out as your lashes shed. Usually you would get an infill between 2-3 weeks so when yours shed, you would then still be left hopefully with enough lashes to have an impact.
If you’re worried about clumpy lashes, hygiene is so important! Brush them and wash them with a proper lash cleanser every day and avoid cleansers and makeup with oil in as this will dislodge the glue. Brush the ends out with a spoolie once washed (the tatti lashes cleanser is one I use and I love it!) and let air dry. Brush them in the morning and in the night and don’t sleep on your face and that will minimise clumping and shedding as much as possible.
Most importantly, research your lash tech! Make sure you go to someone who is reputable and who’s style you like. If you explain your situation to your lash tech they will work with you around the possibility of shedding. I hope this helps!! Sorry it was so long! Best of luck and any questions just let me know.
