Interesting!! I’ve been colour correcting with a peachy lipstick which works a bit, but not as much as I want… I’m absolutely trying this next time, looks great!!
Clever! 😆 Usually, straight red corrector is only really used on darker skin tones, but pure pigment DOES work better as a corrector than the watered down version… It’s just a lot of people over apply that shit 😂 The market’s flooded with choice now, and people who kinda don’t need color corrector still want to use it. Hence the light peachy tones.. They’re really perfecting, not heavy duty. I remember Deepica Mutyala on YouTube doing this with lipstick.. Then Maybelline collabed with her to make an actual corrector. Coulda been you, OP! 😂❤
Maybe still get yourself a red/dark orange corrector 🤔 Lipstick tends to have a different formulation, and there’s a teeny chance it may cause milia or breakouts in the long run. I mean… Probably not, but ya know 😂
How do you get it so that the lipstick doesn’t blend into your foundation/concealer? I’ve tried red lipstick before to cover dark circles but it always makes my undereyes pink.

I saw your post yesterday and tried it out today and OH MY GOD. I have the pastiest skin ever and would have never thought to try a true red to cover my deep circles but it worked like a charm! I’ve tried the peachy color correctors and they really never worked for me. I eventually just gave up and accepted my circles but hot damn this worked wonders. Thanks for posting, you’re a lifesaver! 💕
Color correcting never seems to work for me.Maybe I’m applying it incorrectly.
You are so pretty and your makeup looks awesome!!
