Could someone point me to a cosmetics line that does a good job with the cooler tones, especially the red-blue undertone? I was told this time only seen in Scandinavian skin, and as both my mom’s grandparent sets were Swedish and Swedish-Norwegian, it follows. Years ago there was a line called Prescriptives that did a great job of addressing tonal specifics in formulation. Now everything looks suitable for olive skin / warmer tones. When there is a cold tone available, it’s almost tuberculous, it’s so light. Having lived in California most of my life, active, a fiery sin worshiper in my youth, and having the ability to sunbathe well, these deadly shades strike me as terrible. Any suggestions for a specific makeup line or foundation? Thank you.

I’ve found the tarte range Beige works for me. I use 22B and 27B. It’s blends seamlessly into my skin that has red/blue undertones. As for lips and blush, I use mainly berry tones, a more purple. Milk has a lip/cheek tint called Quicky that is a deep berry. And a holographic highlighter from Milk that is blue toned called Supernova.
Lumene is a Finnish makeup brand that’s made (primarily) for native Nordic skintones, it might interest you 🙂 Their foundations have very neutral undertones in my opinion and can look slightly ashen if you have some reddish undertones like I do.
