Sometimes toning down eye makeup can help with pulling off a bold lip, it balances out intensities. Like try swapping the dark shadows for lighter skin tone colors and for the cat eye effect use the tiniest bit of liner or shadow, maybe use a charcoal instead of black.
I think you already look good as is. I think one of the key components of pulling off a black lip is the overall aesthetic. Your dark clothes and hair do a lot to make the look cohesive.

all matte, over line your lips just a tad. I think gloss makes any look try too hard unless it’s really really glam
