So I bought the inglot blending medium to try and turn my loose pigments into eyeliners, and it’s terrible. The liner ends up being very thin or too thick, is very sheer and a bit dry and chalky, overall it sucks and I was wondering if I was doing something wrong?

It takes a bit of practice to have a good balance. What I do is:
– use the handle of a tea spoon to pick up the powder
– add small drops (one at a time) of duraline
– mix with a toothpick or the handle of a tea spoon (not the same as for picking up the powder)
– once smoothly miwed, use a liner pencil to check if the consistency correspond to what you want
– if not, either add powder or duraline in a very small amount at a time a throughly mix eand repeat
