Much better than my first attempt with a liquid liner. Similar advice to what others are saying, shadow works better for the lower lash line because that area tends to get moist as you blink throughout the day and liquid is notorious for smudging. Even a pencil liner softly applied and smudged with a brush would give a nice look.
For a first time using liquid liner that’s really good!
I was a thousand times worse then that for a long time.

Not bad for a first time! Even for the 100th time, not bad. I would probably skip the lower liner though or try to smudge/diffuse it with a pencil brush so it looks less harsh.
