I have a lot of eye shadow palettes and have a hard time keeping up with all the eye shadows I have. It becomes tedious to go through them all trying to find a specific shade when I put on makeup. Does anyone have any recommendations on how they keep track of their shadows?
i use the app snupps to organize all the makeup i own! i have different shelves for different categories (ie eyeshadow palettes, lip gloss, etc). it’s helped me a lot when trying to figure out what kind of looks i want to do and what shades i have!
Repallet by color 😍🤩😵 i havent done this personally cuz I throw out anything I dont use but I’ve seen this option and its tempting to try.

I put all my single shadows that are in their own compacts (including all my Colourpop super shocks, jelly shadows, as well as several blushes and highlighters) on a magnetized plaque that hangs on my wall. All of my palettes (that I use, anyway) are in a separate hanging shelf above that. I got everything at Hobby Lobby. That way I can actually SEE all my shadows when I’m doing my makeup, instead of having them tucked away in a drawer. Although I can’t see x-ray vision style into the palettes, I rely on memory to know what shades are in what palettes. If I’m looking for a particular shade and have to crack open a few palettes to find the best option, no big deal. So for me, it’s mostly memory, but having them out and always visible helps. I have close to 30 palettes and if I feel like I haven’t used one recently, I try to give it some love
