Hello, During my forties, I really started to put on makeup. I love watching different YouTubers and started buying some great stuff. The only problem I have is that I wear glasses. When they are off, I cannot see perfectly. I bought 10X lighted mirrors which helps a bit, but I’m still struggling to get the really nice eyeshadow / eyeliner looks I see here. Are there any tips or places where I can find tips on how to get better eyeshadows? I tried to find YouTubers with glasses but didn’t find many. Thank you!

My best friend struggled with this until she started using contacts. Now she only wears contacts for a night out (pre-pandemic) when she wants her makeup to be on point. Also helps with using fake eyelashes as they don’t play well with glasses!
I normally wear contacts but my current pair starts to irritate my eyes after a couple hours so I’ve been putting in my contacts to do my makeup then take them out when I’m done. Not ideal :/ maybe try a mirror that is like 20x magnifying power or the highest you can find ?
I once saw a YouTube video a long time ago that suggested placing your glasses on, with a white eyeliner lightly trace around your glasses. Basically doing your makeup within your frames and it turned out pretty well. This was at a time I didn’t wear glasses but now that I do need them more. It’s helped me for eyeliner 😌
