I got the itch to mock up a make-believe Colourpop palette after being inspired by the colors in this image. I was drawn to the retro summer vibe and the washed out colors. Here’s what I came up with! From top to bottom, left to right the shades are: On A Whimsy; Wishful Winking; Team Captain; Finesse; Tickled; Flowerboy; Best Coast Scenario; Humble Brag; Love Note; In Frequency; Soo Good; Heart 2 Heart. I only own one of these shades so I can’t swatch them myself, but [here are swatches courtesy of Temptalia](https://www.temptalia.com/?post_type=color-story&p=445956). Hope this inspires someone (myself included!) to play with color!

EDIT: A few people pointed out that many of these CP shades are out of stock, and they are pretty sporadic with their restocks. I did my best to recreate this same fantasy palette using Sydney Grace shadows and [you can see my attempt (pans and swatches) here](https://imgur.com/a/cTS63T4)! I haven’t personally used Sydney Grace shadows buy I have heard really good things about the formula. I’m not sure that they would be considered drugstore, though, as thy are more expensive than CP.
honestly makeup companies need to hire you to create color stories because you have a GIFT. not only do the colors look well together but they are laid out so beautifully. chef’s kiss!!!

Gorgeous story. Have saved it to see if I can make it up with Sydney Grace singles as I love their formula. I think I’ll luck out on the tangerine and mandarine colours though as she doesn’t have many in that particular orange range.

oh, this is BEAUTIFUL. i want this in my collection immediately! the range and photo and everything is just so gorgeous, and i love muted tones.. everything nowadays has a very bright feeling to it, which isn’t bad, but it feels like companies sometimes forget that you can have pigmentation without vivid bright colors!
