I was looking at the images and samples of the UD Wild West palette and only saw fifty shades of brown. I decided to edit the palette to my liking. Now here’s my warning: This is a palette for me – a woman of color with blue collar work that just uses a base and shimmering shadow every day. I use colored shadows when I was going out for drinks with my friends (ah on pre-covid days) but it’s usually a subtle matte blue, green, or pink shade with a shimmering shadow on top. I don’t see myself working with an eye shadow look with highlight and transitional shades. Also, I personally prefer cooler-toned shadows, as the warmer ones pick up on the yellow hues of my neutral skin tone. Changes I made: * I replaced Spur with Buzz from Naked 3 (my favorite shade from my favorite UD palette) – to represent the pink hue of some of the desert stones * Replaced Nudie with a light blue shimmer similar to CP’s Lost and Found – to represent the sky * Replaced Hold’em by a classic blue mat similar to CP’s Backstage / CP’s True Blue – also to represent the sky * Replaced Pony Up (I agree to keep Pony Up and replace Whiskey) with an eggplant – to represent the color of some cactus flowers
