Hi all !! So I need your expertise !! I tend to do the bare minimum on my makeup (eyeliner, mascara, and a bit of foundation over my moisturizer and SPF.) Sometimes I do a bit of eye shadow in a neutral shade. But I have a terrible problem with my mascara and eyeliner smearing around and under my eyes! I’ve used various brands, mostly through Sephora, so like not cheap stuff or whatever. I don’t think I rub my eyes or touch my face a lot to make it happen. Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening to me? What am I doing wrong? Do you have any product suggestions for a low-maintenance makeup routine that won’t stain as much?
Do you use waterproof products? My eye makeup smudges if it’s not waterproof bc my eyes water a lot. I use waterproof Maybelline Mascara and waterproof eyeliner (wet n wilds h20 proof eyeliner), both drugstore items but they never smudge for me. They’re easy to take off with micellar water for waterproof makeup

Is your skin dry to the point it turns oily? Mines does this, i mitigate with shea butter. Lotions just don’t help me.
You could try a tubing mascara as that won’t ever give you panda eyes. I use No7 Stay Perfect. If you put Urban Decay Ozone primer pencil immediately under your waterline it will stop any eyeliner bleeding down. Not sure it would work on your lid though. For liner you could try Kyrolan. Their cake liner is like an eyeshadow and you apply it with their cake liner sealer and it doesn’t budge. It’s stage makeup.
You can also use a dark shade of eyeshadow to line the undereye. Take a small flat eyebrow brush and make a line were you would put your eyeliner. Blend it down a bit. you can do this in lighter shades or with black. I think eyeshadow would maybe decrease the chance of smudging
