Hi everyone, I have extremely oily hooded eyelids and I can’t find anything that can’t wrinkle. Does anyone have any recommendations? I always use an eye primer, with powder, and after makeup I use a setting spray. What DID NOT work (eye primers): -urban decay -smashbox -NARS -NYX -Elf The shadows I use the most are Laura Mercier, Dose of Colors, Violet Voss, Color Pop. Also issued liquid liners (like Stila) transferring completely. Any advice is appreciated! Maybe a liquid shadow that fixes could work? Anyone else having trouble with this? Normally I don’t care but I’m engaged (and I live in the heat of Arizona) and I don’t want it to look bad on my wedding day. Thank you!
The only primer that works for me? MAC paintpot in Soft Ochre.
I also have oily, hooded lids! I like the Juvia’s Place and ABH eye primers! The ABH one is definitely more dry, but I have had good luck with both. If you get the ABH, go with the trial size bc it had pleeeeenty of product.
ETA: I usually set with a skin colored shadow (or just a colored eyeshadows that goes with the look tbh) in the palette I’m using. Whenever I’ve used setting powder, I have a harder time blending the eyeshadows
