Dominique Cosmetics – Transition Palette ✌
……
👁 Look Created: Split Eye w/ Glitter Liner
……
⚫ Packaging: shades are 1.5g each, circle-shaped pans, marbled peach cardboard packaging, bi-fold, palette name & brand is front & center, luxury-weight, magnetic closure, medium rectangle shape, large designed mirror inside, pans are not intended to be removed, shade names are designated below each shadow
……
⚫ Country of Origin: USA
……
⚫ # of Shades in Palette: 15 (all eyeshadows)
……
⚫ Formulas Included: 1 formula (15 mattes)
……
⚫ Designation: neutral-toned
……
⚫ Dexterity Concerns: no concerns
……
⚫ Type of Press: moderate – a lot of kickback in pans, no fallout on my face; can do either face or eyes first with this palette
……
⚫ Extra Information: an all-inclusive palette that you can use for highlighter, contour/bronzer, blush, brows, & eyeshadow, pans are exclusively made large enough to fit a complexion brush, cruelty-free, NOT vegan, 12-month PAO
🔸️Shade Variance: this palette has a nice ‘light-to-dark’ gradient. There is a range of ‘neutral transition shades’ for a spectrum of skintones.
🔸️Formula:
Mattes: out of every Dominique Cosmetics palette I’ve tried, these mattes are the best. I’ve ALWAYS struggled blending her mattes out, they don’t budge for me. After intense blending, I was able to get a little blend today. I really enjoy just how buildable this formula is, & exactly how well it layers – the layers create an impeccable, unidentifiable line.
Matte Black: you know I always have to comment on the matte black (if there is one). This matte black is NOT my favorite. It is a very, very dry shade creating a skippy application. Also, the depth isn’t atramentous. It definitely isn’t the most pigmented I’ve ever used.
🔸️Packaging: i love this packaging in its entirety. I think this company always does an exceptional job with their packaging.
🔸️Recommendation: the idea behind this palette is genius. I love how anybody can grab it, & complete a bunch of makeup steps with just one piece. I love EVERYTHING about it, except just how hard I have to work to make it work in my favor. I’m happy with the way the eye look turned out from this color-story, too. The price per shade is ‘affordable’. Each shadow pan holds above an average amount of shadow. I do not think anybody would find difficulty in storing this palette. I am keeping this in my collection.
▪️If you are interested in this palette, I would recommend it…. IF you don’t mind the extra work blending.
