I used to wear strip lashes for YEARS and loved it. for me it’s a lot easier than mascara because i can just put the lashes on and i’m delighted with the look … but my natural lashes never look good and i always put so much effort into curling the brushing, etc. decided after 2 year hiatus i want my strip lashes back … but they definitely make my lash line fall out if that makes sense so i was wondering if they cause long term damage? is it safe? I only quit because my natural eyelashes started to point down due to the wait for the strip lashes I wear cherry red lashes wsp (these are the only lashes that don’t drive me crazy because I already have big eyes and I have a lot of stock from my eyelash days) and black duo brush on glue
I’m sure it does damage it because there’s a band constantly pressing your lashes downwards. I got eyelash extensions 3 times and each time the technician said she could tell I wear strip lashes because my lashes apparently go in different directions. I won’t stop though, and the extensions were more damaging than the strips. They made gaps in my lashes after the third time I went. Not worth it for me. I got 1 classic set which was fine but then I did 2 volume sets and that’s when the gaps started coming
I find magnetic lashes to be easier to apply/remove and consequently less harsh on my lash line. Try them!
