I have really long eyelashes, but they tend to clump together and look so spider-like so easily, or they end up looking weird because one will be longer than the other if it is irregular on my eyelashes. Right now I’m using Rimmel’s Day 2 Nite, and I really like it, but I was wondering what others are using? It’s probably that bad, but my mascara routine is that I curl my lashes for 30-40 seconds and then apply my new Day 2 Nite mascara to the back of the lashes first while looking down, then the front (the two light coats) – and then if I need to, I part the lashes with my Day 2 Nite plus dried mascara comb from the last tube (probably so bad, but I’ve been doing this for 15 years and have never had an infection to be fair). I let it dry and then repeat the process, curling and applying. I do this until I’m happy with it. I feel like there must be an easier way to make my lashes look not so great!
Get a lash comb. It helps you separate clumps while not adding extra product or taking product away. You can find them with makeup brushes, but I prefer to buy online because I couldn’t find a metal one at a store near me. Plastic ones are fine, but metal lasts longer.
Different mascara stat. That Rimmel is like the lowest rated mascara sold at Target because it’s gloopy and clumpy. I’d try Benefit They’re Real or Two Faced Better than Sex.

Lash comb is great for precision. I have really long lashes as well and love L’Oréal Voluminous original mascara. It comes in different colors and it safe for contact wearers. Reasonably priced. I’ve tried expensive mascaras, but I love this one. If you find a more expensive mascara you like, just keep the wand. 9 times out of 10 it’s the wand and not so much the mascara.
