I am therefore a natural and creative artist at heart and I have been doing cross-dressing from time to time since I was 10 years old. I always said it was so cool to be able to do your face makeup and make yourself look so beautiful. (It’s not that nobody is if they don’t wear makeup) Girls, what items should I buy for a beginner?

I’m excited for you!! Makeup is a fun way to express yourself. I’ve been wearing it since I was around 12, mainly because I was self-conscious, but I’m starting to get more into the idea of using it as art and expression now in my 20s.
Some of my favorite cheap products that work well:
Missha BB cream or L’Oreal true match foundation – the foundation has a little more coverage, but BB cream has spf!
I’m actually looking for a new concealer right now, because my fave from Missha got discontinued
Colourpop makes GREAT highlighters and eyeshadow palettes that are pretty affordable!
My favorite black eyeliners are NYX matte liquid liner and Wet n Wild megaliner. NYX is a thin brush tip and WnW is a tapered felt tip, both apply really well and stay on for the whole day without any fading or flaking.
Revlon makes great lipsticks. I love their super lustrous line, and the ultra matte ones.
A Real Techniques makeup sponge! It works pretty much the same as the beauty blender, but much less expensive. I rinse it, then squeeze in a hand towel, and use to apply foundation, concealer, and blend my highlighter/blush/bronzer. And some basic eye makeup brushes; I have a collection of random ones. ELF has some sets available at Target, ULTA, etc.
Not necessary, but I like the NYX matte setting spray! It’s a cheaper alternative to the famous Urban Decay one.
