I’ve noticed this too and my suggestion is to apply more of what you want to see, ie: blush, bronzer, shadow, etc. The amount of blush/bronzer I wear for a trip to the store versus the amount I wear when I take phots/videos of myself is insane, lol. A light handed look will not show up well on camera. This is why most beauty vloggers apply much more product than they need too, so it can show up on camera/photos! Lightening (and editing!) helps a ton too.
Make sure you exposure isn’t too high. But also, the obvious answer, wearing more makeup could help too.
Also try using colorful eyeshadows or eyeshadows that are opposite of your undertone (e.g. if your skin is warmer wear cooler eyeshadows and vice versa).
