I hate the Maybelline Instant Age Reward Concealer. It’s so thick and heavy. It doesn’t look natural at all to me. It has OKAY color selection but I mainly stay away from drugstore foundation/concealer. I have medium skin but unique undertones and the only drugstore brand I’ve found to match me nicely was the Elf Camo Concealer in medium peach.
I FREAKING HATE the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink liquid lipsticks. They are sticky as hell and stay that way. They are hard to apply, and immediately unforgiving if you get the tiniest bit on your skin just outside of your lips. The formula remains tacky and horrible yet looks dry as hell in the worst way. And it fades after a while in a flaky, awful manner. Also VERY hard to remove. WHY IS IT SO POPULAR.

i wanted to try that covergirl foundation but i didn’t because everyone said it was bad have i been missing out 😩
I too really like that CG foundation! In fact, I just repurchased it. For me it’s a natural finish and it wears well throughout my day. Scent is a little odd, but it fades quickly. Coconut oil is one of the few things that breaks me out, but it is pretty far down the ingredients list, and I haven’t had any issues with it in this foundation. It actually reminds me of my long-since discontinued love, the CoverGirl Natureluxe (in the light green tube).
i liked it! but after a few months (maybe ~4) the consistency started to look cakey whenever i applied it. maybe the formula oxidized? i don’t know. but im really happy covergirl is cruelty free now!
I hate when brands put coconut oil in products. I don’t have an allergy, but coconut oil breaks me out SO bad!!! I had wanted to try this foundation, but I can’t because of the coconut oil.
