⚫ Type of Press: soft – lots of kickback in pan, some fallout on my face, recommend doing eyes first with this palette

🔎 REVIEW:
🔸️Patchiness: no patchiness
🔸️Blendability: a little on the harder side to blend
🔸️Fallout: experienced some fallout, the most being from micro-shimmer shade ‘Reputation’
🔸️Shade Variance: there is a nice range of light, midtone, & deep shades. There are multiple traditional ‘neutral transition shades’ for a range of skintones.
🔸️Formula: The mattes feel intensely creamy, but surprised me as being a bit difficult to get blended. They do build nicely, so you can vary the desired intensity just by how much pressure you use during application. The micro-shimmers are weird, & some of them confused me between being a ‘topper’ or being a ‘metallic’. You never know which type your going to get until you swatch it to find out. The metallics were my favorite formula in this palette. They truly are METALLIC. Used wet, they look like chrome! I’d consider the shade ‘Dreamweaver’ to be an ABSOLUTE dud, as it is dry-as-a-bone, extremely crumbly, & completely unusable. It is unlike any other shadow in the palette.
🔸️Packaging: I’m a bit split on this – I like the packaging as it stands, but then again … it doesn’t match any of the other Naked-series palettes, which bothers me (because it’s the only cushioned one).
🔸️Recommendation: to me, this is a good staple palette to have around. If you don’t want to do a solo-look with it, you can use it as a base for an accent palette. This palette has some outstanding metallics, & I think that’s the real takeaway. The price per shade is on the higher side, & it’s not difficult to store. I’m going to keep this one in my collection, & say it’s worth a shot if your into it.
