From Alteya Organics’s Own Rose Fields in the Heart of the Bulgarian Rose Valley

Located in the center of Bulgaria, shielded between the Balkan Mountain Range and Sredna Gora mountains, the Bulgarian Rose Valley is the home of the Bulgarian Rose and a world center for Bulgarian Rose Otto production.

There are over 7000 varieties of roses worldwide, yet only few are known as oil-producing. The Rosa Damascena, cultivated in the Bulgarian Rose Valley for over 300 years, is considered the best oil-bearing rose renowned worldwide.

Unique climatic and soil conditions make the Rose Valley the perfect home for rose growing and rose oil production. The mountain rains and fresh air create the perfect environment for the plentiful pure botanicals that grow in the Valley. Mild winters prepare the rose plants for the blossoming season. The air humidity, cloudiness and precipitation in May and June contribute to the cultivation of roses that yield very high percentage of oil. The Bulgarian Rose Valley is the home of Alteya’s organic rose fields and distillery.

Thermal Steam-Distilled at Alteya’s Own Distillery

By using a unique distillation technique embodying century-old traditions and modern technology, we have distilled a special grade rose water that preserves the biodynamic energy of the rose plant and increases its beautifying and rejuvenating powers.

The way our rose water is produced is very different from how other companies make their rose waters.

The water, left from the distillation of rose oil, is never used again, which is a key difference from almost all other distilleries who save costs by reusing the by-product of rose oil distillation and market it as rose water. Alteya runs a separate distillation cycle to produce the famous Alteya rose flower water (aka Rose Water) beneficial for cleansing and refreshing dry, sensitive skin.

– EGG WHITE
– TABLESPOONS ROSE WATER
– TABLESPOON ROSE PETALS (OPTIONAL)

Mix all ingredients well and apply to clean dry face and neck. Let stand 20 minutes and rinse with water.

Rose healthy-hair rinse for all hair types.

This hair rinse makes hair soft and shiny, removes build up and restores natural’s hair ph levels. It helps stimulate hair growth.

– 100ML/4FL OZ ROSE WATER
– 30ML/1FL OZ APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Mix well all ingredients. After shampooing, massage on clean damp hair and scalp for few minutes. You can rinse or leave it on your hair.

Rose Face mask for oily skin.

This fragrant face mask will detoxify, deeply cleanse and balance skin.

– 3 TABLESPOONS ROSE WATER
– 1 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE
– 1 TEASPOON SANDALWOOD POWDER

Mix well. Apply to clean face. Leave for 20 min. Rinse with cool water.
