I just wanted to tell you that I think all of your album makeup posts are so cool and creative. I love the song “Would” and used to blast it on my CD Walkman all the time!
Comments: I did this one about a week ago before I went to work, and I work overnight so there was no sun but hopefully the lighting is okay, I try to make sure I do them in natural light but it’s hard this time of year lol. I’ve had “Got Me Wrong” stuck in my head ever since I did this, so instead of uploading another one of my older ones in my backlog, I wanted to get this one out so maybe my brain can have some freedom. I spent a couple days trying to get this one right because a lot like the one I did for Jar of Flies, this album (er, EP) means a whole lot to me! Trying to get the vibe of the album and the cover art together into one look was pretty easy because I feel like the cover is an excellent representation of how it feels to listen to this album. I chose muted colours, and a warm brown to contrast with the dusky blues. I tried keeping the eyeliner sleek and have it not be the main focus, but I still wanted to have some and keep it sharp and smooth. I didn’t do much with my face or brows, kept the focus on the eyes, and went with a matching colour for the lips to make sure this was a nearly monochromatic look. I did put more blush then usual under my eye area, but kept it light everywhere else. I also used very subtle lashes, to finish the look but prevent it from looking too glamorous. Anyways, CC always welcome, wanted even as this is a challenge for me!
