So I hate the look and feel of foundation on my skin so I never wear it, but due to my really bad dark circles I wear a lot of concealer under my eyes. However, regardless of which concealer I use, they all seem to disappear from my under-eye area throughout the day. I don’t touch my face or rub my eyes so I don’t know why, the concealer just seems to gradually go away. I have tried using powder under my eyes to set it and hold it in place, but whatever powder I use, translucent or pigmented, it makes my concealer look incredibly dry and mushy because I already have very dry skin. I was looking to put on some sprays and wondering if it would be beneficial to get one if I am not wearing foundation? As the powder looks terrible, it seems like the only option to keep my concealer in place, but I’ve never heard of anyone using setting spray without foundation and I’m not sure if it would even work. I also use cream blush which could be another reason to invest in a setting spray as I find the blush fades quite quickly too.

You can use setting spray under your eyes, even if you aren’t wearing foundation. Ben Nye Final Seal is a fantastic setting spray, if you’re looking for one! But the fading may also have to do with other things, too.
First off, primer. If you’re using it, awesome! If you aren’t using it, use primer!
Secondly, if you put a lot of concealer on as you said, you may want to reel it in a bit. A bunch of concealer under the eyes can crease really easily, which takes product from one spot under your eyes and bunches it up in another spot—this increases that fading of your makeup over time, since it’s being shifted into the creases.
I have suuuper deep and dark circles as well! So what I do is color correct under my eyes first (the Becca under eye color correct is great for this—but get it before they shut their doors forever). Using color correct means I can use *way* less concealer than I normally would, and I’ve got some *deep dark* eye bags.
So yes, totally! Use setting spray! But also, think about primer, using less concealer, and using color correct. If you already do some of those, sorry for man-splaining to you over the internet! But if you just do concealer, maybe think about trying some new techniques!
