🔎 REVIEW:
🔸️Patchiness: experienced some patchiness with the dark shade ‘Root ‘Em Up’
🔸️Blendability: really easy to blend
🔸️Fallout: experienced some fallout, the most being from sequin shade ‘Herbivore’
🔸️Shade Variance: there is a nice range of light, midtone, & deep shades. There are multiple traditional ‘neutral transition shades’ for a range of skintones.
🔸️Formula: The mattes were fine – pigmented, easy-to-blend … everything I expect with the ColourPop formula. The darkest matte was patchy as can be when applied. The sequin shadows play just fine as mattes, because as you blend, the shimmer particles fall away. It just makes them prettier to look at. The metallics worked well, too. You don’t have to use them wet to get full coverage color. The supershocks are my favorite formula. They are so soft. You can use your finger or a brush for these. They apply sooooo smoothly and give the BEST effect on your eye. There were no duds in this palette.
🔸️Packaging: this is really cute packaging. The font looks a little cheap, though.
🔸️Recommendation: surprisingly, this is only my second ColourPop palette. I like what they offer, but they push SO MUCH product that I’ve always questioned how unique the products really were. This palette in particular did the job, and it was my first time using supershocks, which I quickly fell in love with. The colors are fun, different, & play well with each other. I think this is a palette well-done. I’m going to keep this one in my collection, & highly recommend it.

+ Favorite Shade: Don’t Leaf
– Least Favorite Shade: Deserted
……
🚦 Rating: B – [Points deducted for patchiness, excessive fallout, & a cheap packaging font]
