**1. Oil Control Primer Mist.** So I really like the mist, but i really don’t like the packaging. It’s very clunky and makes you feel like you’re getting more product than you actually are. Per ounce, this is almost as expensive as UD all-nighter. You also definitely need to shake it before you use it, and the mist comes out really heavy, so i really recommend only using this BEFORE makeup. It dries down pretty quickly, so you either have to apply your concealer/foundation REALLY fast, or apply a second primer on top of it, which is what I do. I combine this with the oil control lotion and they seem to do a good job at decreasing my oil production in my t-zone. Like I said, I do like it, but I don’t know if I will repurchase.
**2. Small tapered brush.** I LOVE this little guy. It’s a bit bigger than I expected, but still nice and small. Brush itself is very soft and fluffy. I use this with the matte powder to touch up my t-zone. Definitely recommend if you want a nice small-ish cheap powder brush.
**3. Glitter Primer.** this stuff is great! I tried this out with shimmers from a few different palettes and they definitely show up brighter and stay on longer. I put down my NYX HD eye primer, apply matte shadows, then use a TINY bit of the glitter primer where I want the shimmer to go. It’s very sticky and a little goes a long way. I’ve never tried a glitter glue primer before so I can’t compare this to any others, but I do really like this, and it’s gonna last for a long time. Highly recommend.
**4. Matte Blotting Powder.** this is a really nice handy little pressed powder compact. The packaging feels a little flimsy/cheap, but it hasn’t broken, so I don’t think it actually IS flimsy. I use the small tapered brush, tap and swirl it in the powder, then apply it to my t-zone thruout the day. It’s translucent but can leave a bit of a white cast, so I don’t know how great it would be for darker skin, but I’m very pale so it’s fine for me. The only downside is that i’ve only used it a few times and I already hit pan, so it can go pretty fast, but I think most powder goes pretty fast, so it’s not a dealbreaker by any means. I’ll definitely repurchase.
**5. Matte Oil Control Mask.** this mask is a little different than other ones I’ve tried in that it doesn’t really dry down. The instructions say to leave on for 10-15 minutes. I left it on for almost 15 and it hadn’t dried down to the point that most masks do, but it didn’t come off when I touched it with my fingers either, and still definitely needs warm water to come off. My face felt nice and fresh when it was done and there was no tightness, dryness, or tingling. i started tretinoin recently and wanted to try this mask because I heard about how gentle it was, but this was almost TOO gentle. i couldn’t tell if it had really exfoliated at all. would say this would be a nice morning mask, you don’t need to follow it up with a ton of moisturizer. Don’t know if I’d repurchase but I’ll use the rest of it.
**6. Soothing Aloe Mist.** oh boy I LOVE this. This is a really nice refreshing mist to use over a bare face or makeup. It’s NOT a setting spray. I like to apply this when I just need a little moisture, whether I’m wearing makeup or not. It is scented, but imo the scent isn’t overpowering, just a nice little burst, and it goes away after spraying. I don’t know if it really has any makeup or skincare benefits, but it’s a nice spray.
**7. Oil Control Liquid Lotion**. I really really like this lotion! It’s definitely a daytime lotion, at least for me, as it’s very liquidy (hence the name) and light. Despite this, it doesn’t dry down super fast. The tea tree oil leaves a bit of tingling, especially over my active acne, but not enough to bother me. It’s very slightly scented but not in an annoying way, and I think it’s from the tea tree oil. You don’t need to use much at once. It definitely helps to control my oil production and it’s very nice to use. I also really like the packaging, the dusty rose color is really pretty and I like the minimalist design, looks nice on the shelf! Definitely recommend.

This is sooo useful! Thank you! I’m an elf fan 🙂
Seriously though, you got every little detail in 🙂
Do you have the mate putty primer? How it compares with those in the area of oil control?
If ELF ever disappeared, I think it’d be the end of me lol
