My eyebrows have never darkened with the rest of my hair and they are basically invisible. I am currently filling them with NYX ointment (unfortunately a shade too light but it is functional). I saw a suggestion to tint blonde eyebrows on a makeup video the other day and was wondering if anyone here has ever done that. 1. Is it worth it? 2. Should I do it professionally or at home? 3. Bonus: do I still have to put on / wax / pluck invisible eyebrows? Thank you! If that’s part of the thread, let me know and I’ll move it.
I’ve gotten them tinted at the Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta in addition to waxing. I love it! I think it’s totally worth it. The only downside is that if you use oil-based makeup remover it’ll remove the tint quicker. But I would definitely recommend trying it.
I just buy the Godefroy Hair Color Kit for Spot Coloring and do mine myself. I use Vaseline or Cerave ointment between and around my brows so there’s no staining. After I wipe the color off with a makeup wipe after a couple of minutes, I go in and pluck any stray hairs that look super wonky or out of place.
I was hesitant to do it by myself at first, but it’s honestly really easy to do. Just don’t do something ridiculous like get it in your eyes. The kits on Amazon cost like $10-$20 depending on how many capsules are included. I usually use maybe half a capsule at a time.
I get mine tinted and it makes a big difference for me!
I get mine done by a professional. It costs ÂŁ14 for threading and tinting.
Be aware tinting can’t create brow hairs where none exist so if, like me, you are both sparse AND blonde you’ll still have to fill in a little.
