Shade: currently available in 12 shades. Mine is in ‘Light-to-Medium’

Scent: yes; very strong tropical fragrance

Type/Claims: medium-to-full coverage, natural radiant glow finish, weightless, longwearing, creamy texture

Skin Type Designation: created for all skin types

Style: 1.0 fl ounce, plastic pump-style applicator, luxury glass bottle

Application Method: left 1/2 face with a foundation brush, right 1/2 face with a damp sponge

Dexterity Concerns: none

Oxidization: yes; slight oxidization

Extra Information: contains three types of butters from the Amazon Rainforest – Murumuru, Cupauçu, & Tucuma. Both clinically & dermatologist tested. This product is cruelty-free (PETA-certified), vegan, 12-month PAO, made in USA

Rules: no base primer, no powder, or setting spray – no other makeup to affect wear; just the foundation

Activity:  moderate house-cleaning, cleaned out my car outside in the heat (92°) for 1-hour, refrained from touching face at all times

⭐ Initial Application: (1230) thicker consistency, needed 6 pumps for full-face, prefer coverage on ‘brush’ side, full-coverage application, covered everything – redness, melasma, & dark blemishes, natural skin finish

🕑 2-Hour Mark: (1430) still wearable; looks like I’ve just applied it! Sweating on my face has brought back my melasma (but I think this would be further hidden by color corrector & concealer).

🕔 5-Hour Mark: (1730) still wearable; looks slightly patchy on left cheek & under right eye. Wore off in a small patch on chin.

🕗 8-Hour Mark: (2030) still wearable; no significant changes

🕛 12-Hour Mark: (0030) still wearable; only change is some slight wear around nostril area.

▪️Shade Matching: foundation does slightly oxidize, so that may affect your shade matching. Physician’s Formula utilizes ‘Findation’ on their website to assist in shade matching.

▪️Recommended Application Method: brush

▪️Recommended Skin Type: any

▪️Recommended MAX Wear Time: 12+ hrs

▪️Primer Recommendation: yes, pore-filling

▪️Melasma Test: passed

▪️Packaging: standard

▪️Value – Using the ‘average’ amount of foundation as 1.0 fl oz., this calculates to be $14.99/ounce, which I would consider mid-end pricing (<$10=low-end; $11-$25=mid-end;  $26-$60= high-end; >$61=luxury)

▪️Extra Information: I couldn’t believe how long this lasted on my skin & still looked freshly applied! It definitely holds true to the ‘longwearing’ claim! Usually, every foundation breaks up on my nose at some point, but this one never did.
