I have combination skin with little hyperpigmentation. I have used mac studio fix before and it worked fine but unfortunately they don’t have my nuance here in Japan. I’m thinking of buying either estee lauder double wear (hear it puckering and looking heavy), dior backstage foundation (foundation looks really oily at 4 o’clock) or just buy shiseido synchro self-refreshing (not enough information) Please help me choose or if you have another good base available in Japan
I think what you need to do is focus on skincare. Hydration is key. Niacinamide helps with oil production and texture on the skin, and hyperpigmentation AND it’s cheap. Rosehip Seed Oil is good for slowing down oil production also. Hyaluronic Acid is a good humectant. Get your skin in good shape and makeup will look and apply better.
Japan (sigh). I’d LOVE to visit Japan!!! Japanese skincare is world class. Do some searching on YT for skincare. Having said that, nothing will keep makeup from creasing at all. You can just help minimize the creasing with good skincare and makeup. Of the 4 I have (Rare Beauty, Lancome Tient Idole, Fenty Powder Foundation and IT CC+, Lancome wears the best followed by IT CC+. I have very dry skin and have to hydrate and moisturize A LOT! I won’t bore you with my skincare routine. It’s not for the faint of heart LOL There’s a LOT of steps but I’m pleased so I’ll keep doing it.

Everything creases at some point. Our face is not perfectly smooth so makeup will not sit perfectly smooth. It will find the tiny lines and dips in the pores.
