I took the plunge today after postponing it all my life (I’m 30). I have always been intimidated by makeup, but recently decided to learn / adopt it for my sanity and confidence. I want to thank this group for having existed and for making makeup more accessible to beginners.

Piece of advice for the Comfort Zone pallete: From my experience, using a sticky base helps the shimmers stay on the best. My personal recommendation is Nyx glitter glue.
Anyways, love that pallete. Used it today, actually.
I’m 30 as well and just started getting into eyeshadow this year! I’m sad I missed out on all the colorful eyeshadow looks in my twenties but it’s not too late to have fun now.

Lovely haul! Hope you have lots of fun with it. I love putting a podcast on when doing my makeup and I will sit there for 1.5 hours just dipping and swiping and I’m so bloody zen.

That mascara is my holy grail (seriously I have been using it forever) and I have a few of those elf brushes (also from forever ago) and they hold up so well in my experience. Mine still look brand new.
I’m 55 and right with you. I’ve been on a buying spree all year, but I’m just beginning to play with my spoils.
I’m not gonna lie I’m freaked out by the foot.. is that supposed to mean something? It’s giving me the heebee jeebies
