Hi! I just wanted to give people a warning – I remember seeing a big thread about whether Mac was giving up on face and body. I noticed my shade (N9) was off the website as I was looking to redeem. A mac rep said they didn’t know if he was interrupted. When I transferred to the order team they said that N9 had been discontinued: (I’m not sure about the other shades. It’s super disappointing as the sheer, shiny but long-lasting foundation is definitely on fashionable right now, and they’ve been removing the darker shades from this line slowly for years. I don’t understand why you would make foundation * less * inclusive in this climate. I’m planning on switching to foundation Dior F + B or Pat Mcgrath.

That’s so disappointing! I’m wanting to try it (I don’t know if I’m a N1 or N2), but I don’t want to fall in love if the whole line will eventually be discontinued! I hate when that happens. And MAC F&B is a staple – why would they discontinue it?? Frustrating 😩
ETA: Even more frustrating that they’re discontinuing the darker shades. We need more inclusivity, not less!
I wanted to try this and N9 would be my shade. They just discontinued Matchmaster and I loved that.
Yikes. I’m a lighter shade, but I restocked just in case. Those big bottles last forever. The finish is key for dry skin. Let us know if you like the replacements.
