Hi people! I experimented with my sample of the Rare Beauty foundation and I really like the finish. I have a lot of texture and the first time I used it it was beautiful and my texture is fuzzy and felt light. The next time I used the sample it ended up looking mushy (maybe I used too much?), And I don’t think I did anything other than use the primer Elf Putty, confirming that Rare primer and foundation seem supposed to go away. together. It’s a bit too illuminating for me, so I’m wondering if anyone else has found another silicone-free primer that works well with it? For reference, I have rosacea, acne, combo skin, and sebaceous dermis. What I like about this foundation is that it is thin but still very pigmented. Maybe I should move on, but it seems to have so much potential! Thank you in advance for your help!

I’ve used it on top of my moisturizer without issue, second time I used milk hydrogrip but I’ve been seeing the the elf mint primer is a good dupe so maybe try that if you need something to grip and make it last longer?
