I don’t have any great advice here but I just wanted to say I think your eyes are lovely! Absolutely nothing wrong with hooded eyes.
You might try having a google for “floating eyeliner” — it’s something I’ve seen recommended for hooded/monolid eyes in the past. Basically you end up with eyeliner on the part of your lid that shows when your eyes are open.
I also have hooded eyes with a low brow bone and I’ve essentially given up on eyeliner. The advice I do have to offer, though, is to experiment before you wash your face for the night. Yeah, it’s kind of a waste of product but it’ll help you figure out what you like without having to risk the rest of your look if you end up hating the eyeliner. That’s what I did when I wanted to be better at liner and brows
There are definitely things you can try, but depending on your expectations and how much you’re willing to experiment it will probably be pretty challenging. I’m in a similar boat and I ended up just giving up on eye makeup. I wear mascara sometimes but my eyelids usually fuck it up no matter what I do. I’m planning on getting a blepharoplasty at some point and one of the things I’m most excited about after is being able to actually see my eye makeup. Not trying to promote or encourage surgery at all because it’s not the right choice for everyone, but I know it’s the right choice for me. If you do find some makeup techniques you like be sure to share on this sub, they’d be very welcome!
ok i have 3 ideas that i think would look good:
1. do eyeshadow in the shape of eyeliner! this is prob my favorite option: put browns on your whole lid up to the part that you would be able to see when your eyes are open and wing it out just as you would eyeliner. go darker and darker on the browns and eventually do black on the very lashline and the wing (or more depending how dramatic you want it). try this i really feel like it’ll look good
2. do a baby wing! eyeliner doesn’t HAVE to start at the edge of your eye – even just a wing looks cute.
3. do very heavy thick eyeliner that goes up all the way to the top of your eyelid so that it gives the illusion of eyeliner when you have your eyes open. when your eyes are closed, it will probably be all black but it will look good anyway plus when you’re wearing makeup your eyes are usually open and you only blink for like a tenth of a second
Try following @workingwithmonolids on Instagram 🙂 even though I’m not Asian, I have followed her for a while cus I also have hooded eyes, and she has some great ideas
Try “Annette’s makeup corner” winged eyeliner tutorial for hooded eyes on YouTube. It’s a faux look but she does it so well. I recommend her channel overall for hooded eyes and dramatic looks.
Could i give the advice to not think of yourself as having a “bad case” of anything? Your eyes are so lovely, they are just different than some others that are over-represented.
I have hooded eyes too and I saw a thing where they only applied liner/makeup under the eye only, not on the lid, and honestly it looked really cool. I’m going to try it for work tomorrow. I’ll report back lol

I have very hooded eyes too and I use black eyeshadow with a tiny brush. The shadow stays in place so much better than liner for me and if it does occasionally smudge it just looks softer and diffused. Make sure to use a good eye primer and set the primer with a powder first
You can try using a black pencil underneath your lashline. I know it’s not literally eyeliner but I think it gives a similar effect without taking any space on the lid.
There’s an account called “working with monolids” on Instagram and I like her stuff because I am Asian and also have hooded eyes and she really teaches you how to do makeup for your eye shape. I find it very helpful, and maybe you will too. Good luck!

Have you tried the reverse cat eye? No eyeliner on the top at all, just winged out on the bottom. It is flattering for hooded eyes!

You could squeeze in a baby wing at
the end. Try it🤗

I’m new to makeup so i can’t give advice, but you have very pretty eyes
You could try a lash lift, which could emphasise your eyes. Then maybe some Smokey eyeshadow instead of liner and kind of create a crease with it.

Have you researched Ptosis?, it could help you out maybe, best of luck with the liner
