I’ve never had a photo shoot cone before. Tips and tricks for applying makeup and more? I think my makeup is decent and I really don’t want to hire an artist because of money and self-confidence issues. What can I do to make my makeup look beautiful and natural in the photos? I have extremely oily skin and hyperpigmentation.
Unfortunately it’s best to do your makeup as usual, then test them on your phone camera, or a camera if you have any.
Check if your SPF or foundation contain any filters that can cause flashbacks.
And with makeup, what looks good in person might look washed out when you take a picture using phone camera or professional cameras, especially with harsh lighting.
If it’s going to be an indoor photoshoot with harsh lighting, you might wanna mattify your skin as much as possible, and have very soft highlight, because even though glowy makeup looks good in person, it might reflect the light too much in photoshoots.
