Why is this happening? I use a moisturizer, primer, concealer, clear setting powder, and setting spray. Is the problem with the products, the application, or what? It looks good when I apply it, but after awhile it separates from my skin and kinda glides on. I’m desperate.
It could be that the product combination you are using doesn’t work well together.
I had a moisturizer that didn’t absorb well and would cause this.
I have also had a foundation (can’t remember brand) that did this no matter what I did. I figured it just didn’t like my skin.
What’s your skin type? Maybe the products you’re using are making the area dry/flakey. If that’s the case then I’d try a hydrating/gripping primer such as the elf jelly pop dew primer.
Edit: Also, is the something that started happening recently? For me when the season changes I have to modify my routine a bit
Alcohol can dry the skin, check if your products contain alcohol. You want alcohol free.
Sometimes this is due to skin maintenance skincare and make up go hand in hand the better you look after your skin the better the make up sits, try exfoliating and using a more hydrating winter moisturiser
Hello!
It can also be caused by the products not combining well with each other. Such as oil based and water based products. As water and oil do not mix and so causing a separation of products when combined. for example, a oil based primer and a water based foundation would not mix well with each other and cause separation when applied together. Hope this helps! 😃
If you use topical treatment in that area, those can be extremely drying. I know that I can get a little dry in those areas even if I use moisturizer. It could also be sun damage although that would be a weird spot for sun damage since most people are either inside or covering their nose with a mask lol. But still, could be sun damage
